![]() Today I went to Coalition for Life in Bryan, TX and gave them 100 copies of my story. I have 400 copies on the way that have been graciously donated. I am so excited to see what God will do with my story as I begin to share it with women and people in the healthcare and pregnancy services. I hope people see Gods love and grace because of my life story. Today I spoke with Bill (one of my previous homecare patients…i did his nursing this past year) and it was encouraging to tell him what Im doing….because one of the biggest arguments about abortion is that the baby may not have “quality of life” if they are born with a disability. Bill is a quadraplegic. He needs assistance doing the basics of my every day life. He requires total care. However, his physical state does not define his quality of life. His heart, his personality, his family life, his friends…those are the things that are important to him! And he loves life because of these things …The argument does not win with me either….I have fibromyalgia which is a pain syndrome throughout my body (similar to an autoimmune disorder such as lupus)…I dont live a “normal” life every day…I am CONSIDERED disabed..but does this define my quality of life??? NO! And it doesn’t define an unborn babies life that may or may not be born with a disability. The baby can still have a wonderful life and they deserve to LIVE to show that!!!! If you would like to watch my slideshow of meeting Tonya go to: I will also post my flyer that I am handing out to Coalition for Life and pregnancy centers. Please e-mail me if you would like copies! Hope everyone is having a great Monday and thanks for your prayers Comments are closed.
