There are faces that go with these "specimens," and mine is just one of them. How? My birth mother was thirteen years old at the time she became pregnant with me. Her mother took her straight to an abortion clinic where she had a surgical abortion. After thinking she had “fixed the problem,” a few weeks later she realized her belly was still growing. Her mother took her back to the abortion clinic where she learned that she had been pregnant with twins. One was aborted; one survived. It horrifies me to think my twin brother’s body parts could have been sold and profited off of! Had I not survived, it could’ve happened to me as well. It is so contradictory to say a baby/human being holds value only if it profits someone else. It is so unethical and inhuman to sell another human’s body parts for one’s own profit and gain.
Planned Parenthood is a part of this detriment. They do not stand up for women or provide necessary life-saving services. They are not a non-profit! Instead, they are making money off of people just like us. It is time to defund Planned Parenthood, and to enact some serious investigations of abortion clinics across America!! We all deserve better, and I'm glad that people are able to see the truth through these videos. For those who have watched and are sharing, please be sensitive to your friends who have had abortions and the feelings this is bringing up for them.
For those who have had an abortion, or been affected by an abortion in some way, and have watched or heard about the undercover videos that have recently come out, please know that you are not alone. These videos can bring up pain from your past abortion, but they are meant to spread truth in the reality and value of these precious, innocent babies, not to condemn or aim misery at you. I speak on behalf of the pro-life movement that such a motive is not our purpose or intent at all. There are people who are ready to welcome you with open arms, be a shoulder to cry on, and give a listening ear. There is forgiveness and healing. There is hope!
I want to encourage abortion clinic workers who are feeling trapped in this industry through need of a job to reach out to And Then There Were None (ATTWN), a non-profit organization that assists those wishing to leave the abortion industry. ATTWN does more than just help workers transition financially, but they also offer healing retreats (all expenses paid), counseling connections, assistance in job searches, etc. “We’re a relationship built model. As former clinic workers, helping you to heal helps us. Healing doesn’t come overnight, over a few weeks or months, or even years. It’s an ongoing process. We’re with you long-term throughout this process.” [www.abortionworker.com]
I am thankful to be alive today. Deep in my heart, I feel the loss of my twin. Please, share truth in love and thoughtfulness, and continue to be a beacon of support to those who express their regret and pain in unloving ways. Be respectful and mindful.
