The past couple months have been amazing. I interviewed with Standing Stones ministry who are going to record my story to hand out to pregnancy centers and as a testimonial. I spoke at a Hispanic catholic church in college station of about 130 highschool students. The kids were so eager to hear my story and when I said “my birth mother was thirteen” the whole room sighed. They couldn’t believe it. Such a reminder of the brokeness seen all around me. I also spoke at the church I grew up going to in Austin for their middle schoolers retreat. It was about 100 kids. They asked some really great questions and I feel like God really used my life as a reminder to them of Gods mercy towards each of us.
Today, I drove to Dallas with Abby, the former Planned Parenthood director in Bryan TX. It was so encouraging to spend time with her as she is speaking all over the country about how she changed from pro-choice, quit her job, and is now speaking up for the pro-life movement. She is such a Godly woman with a heart to reach women across the world.
My upcoming events are February 27th I am speaking at the Texas Students For Life Conference at Texas A&M…and on April 30th I am speaking at the SFA Pro-Life banquet.
I am starting now to pray for each individual that attends these 2 events…that God would speak through me and that they would take something away from what God has put on my heart to say.
Please join me in praying for these students at both events!!
I am passionate about life & God in a down-to-earth & personal way.
